Covid-19 Coronavirus Update 23rd March 2020
We have today received updated government advice that,
“Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not to do so puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk”.
We are asking all of our customers to adhere to the current advice and not travel to their chalet/caravan. Bearing this in mind we are today ADVISING customers currently on site that you should start making arrangements to return to your primary residence while it is safe to do so. If we are ordered to close by HM Government, we will have no choice but to close the gates.
Our main concern is the safety of our customers and staff. If the country is put on lockdown, we would possibly not be able to get to work, therefore you would have no contact with us. E.g. gas bottles, water or electric issues.
We would remind owners that renting of your chalet or caravan during this period is STRICTLY prohibited. If any of you do offer this service, please remove all advertising at this point.
